Liv Virta-Meyer is a polymath whose interests in farming, the arts and sustainability led her to create the 5th Business Farm Traceable Leather Program at Pergamena, a New York based, family run, sustainable tannery. She spends her days collaborating with farmers and intentional makers on projects and handcrafting bespoke tie dyed and natural dyed leather and parchment.

In her rare off hours you can find her either working to regenerate her farmland on the edge of the Catskills or snuggled up on her living room floor surrounded by craft supplies that her husband wishes she would clean up more often.
