This workshop is held in a heated tent.
A four-hour class devoted to teaching you what you need to know to begin, and continue, this enjoyable pastime.
Covered in the class are the basics of wood identification; as well as the layout, carving and finishing a hardwood wooden spoon. We'll focus on carving technique, and hopefully, by the end of the class, participants will leave with a spoon of their own making, as well as the wood and skills necessary to start another spoon. Participants should specify their dominant hand in an email to the instructor (specify Saturday or Sunday class, too).
