Workshop Info

In this 2 hour needle felting workshop you will learn the basics of needle felting 2-D art, and leave with a completed 8"x10" piece with an artist's mat ready to frame at home. This workshop is great for novices, and shows you that needle felting doesn't have to be "color-by-numbers". You'll create your own wave patterns so no two will be the same. The colors in this art are so beautiful, and the movement of the water and koi are magical. It will be certain to bring a smile whenever you see it. Join us for a quick and easy needle felting experience.

SKILL LEVEL:  Absolute Beginner

A material fee of $24 to be paid to the instructor via cash of Venmo the afternoon of the workshop.

Material fee includes:  background 100% wool textile fabric, 9 colors of wool roving, 2 needle felting needles, artist mat, backing board and sleeve, small incidentals and written instruction. Also the use of the instructor's foam work surface and multi needle tool during the workshop. 

Student should bring:  Small sharp pointed scissors for cutting paper

Students may also want to bring a battery operated task light, if needed.
