Workshop Info

Learn how to "paint with wool" in this beginner needle felting workshop. Students will learn how to layer and attach wool to a linen fabric backing to make this "coastal waters" landscape. These techniques can be applied to other flat need felting projects. Tools and finger guards will be available for use during the class. We will also cover needle felting basics such as terminology, where to find needle felting inspiration and support and where to source the best supplies.

SKILL LEVEL:  Absolute Beginner

A material fee of $50, in cash, to be paid to the instructor.

Material fee includes:  beautifully packaged needle felting kit including foam mat, felting wool, linen fabric, felting needles, wood hoop, instruction sheet, beginner guide

Student should bring:  Nothing

Students may also want to bring a battery operated task light, if needed.
