Workshop Info

Fun crochet patterns are surging in popularity! Learn how to start a project and form the basic stitches of chain, slip stitch, and single crochet. We’ll make a small basket to give you the skills you need to get started with this quick and addictive craft.

SKILL LEVEL:  Absolute Beginner

PREREQUISITES:  None

HOMEWORK:  None

A material fee of $3, in cash, to be paid to the instructor.

Material fee includes:  color-printed pattern and skein of yarn for the project

Student should bring:  Crochet hook a size smaller than usually used for worsted weight yarn (usually around a US Size H/5.0mm), locking stitch markers, tapestry needle

Students may also want to bring a battery operated task light, if needed.
