Traditional Viking Nalbinding is a simple but perplexing interlacement of yarns. Often mistaken for knitting or crochet, Nalbinding is not related to either but is a craft in its own right. This workshop will introduce students to the simple Oslo Stitch and after mastering this stitch the students may be able to expand their stitching by learning additional stitches. Nalbinding is a craft best learned “one stitch at a time”.
