Workshop Info

This workshop is held in a heated tent.  Your hands may be in and out of water throughout the workshop.

This is just the perfect basket for the fiber enthusiast on the go...great for shopping or for taking your current project with you when you have to be out and about. It measures approximately 12" L x 3" W x 10" H (not including the leather handles).

In class, participants will have an opportunity to lay out a filled base, weave up the sides with a pattern using dyed and natural reed and rim/lash their basket.

SKILL LEVEL: Absolute Beginner

PREREQUISITES:  None

A material fee of $45 to be paid to the instructor via cash or check.

Material fee includes:  Natural and dyed reed, seagrass, leather handles, pattern and use of tools needed to complete the basket
