Students will learn to cast-on, bind-off, knit and purl in the Continental style. By the end of class, Beginners will be ready to start a scarf; more experienced knitters will be ready to knit color work with a working yarn in each hand. Resources will be suggested to take students beyond the workshop.
Class will be customized to fit interests of students, including but not limited to understanding fiber content, yarn types and weights, knitting tools, pattern reading, project finishing, etc.
SKILL LEVEL: Absolute Beginner (Advanced Beginners who are unfamiliar with Continental are welcome, too!)

There is no material fee for this class.
Students should bring: One pair of Size 7 knitting needles; one ball of worsted weight yarn
Students may also want to bring a battery operated task light, if needed.
