Rose Ann Hunter
Rose Ann Hunter has been a textile structuralist for the last 30 years. She is craft person in residence at Old Sturbridge Village in traditional rug making 1790 to 1850. She lectures and teaches at various museums, conferences and guilds throughout New England and the US. She has adapted over 30 techniques of rug making that are knitted, crocheted or sewn or a combination of and adapts them and brings them to present day to design rugs and art to wear. She has taught at Stitches, Tkga, and Interweave knitting lab. She has also been artist in residence at the Grand Balsams Resort Hotel where she has taught children and adults alike from around the world and brought them together as one with fiber.
