Using leftover yarns and your stash, learn to create a little log cabin and a little crazy quilt into making a rug, or blanket or art to wear such as a shawl or jacket. Begin with a knitting a mitered square, pick up stitches with a crochet hook, and do short rows and start a getting a little crazy.
Depending on the yarns used once you have learned this technique you adapt it in various ways. Only basic stitches used, and a great beginners project.
Bring to Class: At least 4 different yarns in a pleasing colorway, about 150 yards each, needles to gauge and a pair of scissors and a small crochet hook to pick up stitches. This will inspire your creativity!
