Create a stunning jeweled neck scarf that is sure to garner attention during the holidays! The Poinsettia flower is embellished with Swarovski Crystal Beads. The flower can be worn separately as a brooch or shawl pin. Channel your inner diva and learn to make couture quality jewelry!
Students will use hand dyed merino wool, silk threads, and silk ribbons, as well as spectacular Swarovski Crystals and other assorted embellishments to felt an incredible piece of wearable art. The juxtaposition of texture in this piece is truly sublime. The techniques include wet felting and bead embroidery. No previous felting experience required.
STUDENTS SHOULD BRING: A hand towel, a task light, and a smile.

Pat will be assisted by her good friend, Monica Zavala-Durazo, a talented felt artist from the great state of Arizona.
