Description

Nothing is more beautiful than a project knitted from handspun. Maybe you’ve never knit anything from your handspun or have had some spectacular disasters.
In this class we’ll review your handspun yarns, spin new yarns and knit samples.
You’ll get tips on:
• Matching breeds with yarns and projects
• Matching your drafting and plying with a project
• Keeping yarns consistent throughout
• How to pair your handspun with the perfect project
• The color question: what to do with all of the variegated tops and rovings in your stash
• How to swatch handspun yarn
Please bring to class: a wheel in good working order, at least 3 bobbins, a lazy kate and a niddy noddy, some of your handspun yarn
Please be able to: to spin a consistent yarn and know how to adjust your wheel
