Description

So now that you have spun a load of singles what’s next? In this class we will discuss the process of plying. We will talk about when to ply and how. This will cover plying with active singles, plying with relaxed singles, Andean plying, Navajo or Chain Playing. If time allows we’ll look at some texture techniques like spiral plying and coiling. Students should bring:
Spinning wheel, at least one bobbin of spun singles yarn that has rested at least a week, 2 additional bobbins. Niddy Noddy, extra bobbins and lazy kate is recommended.
