Once again the NYS Sheep and Wool Festival is pleased to offer an expanded workshop program. As you browse through the class offerings you will see that there is just about something for everyone. There are introductory level classes where absolutely no experience is required to advanced classes where a good foundation is important to fully benefit from course content.
Workshops will be held on the grounds of the Festival, Thursday through Sunday, October 14th -17th. Most of the classes will take place in Building "D". Those classes involving a lot of water - wet felting, and dying classes will once again be in our tent area just outside Building D.
In an effort to streamline our registration process and make things less confusing, we are including all fees in the cost of the workshop. There are no additional charges once the fee is paid ( unless clearly stated in the course description). Each student registering will receive a two day admission to the Festival at no additional charge. On Thursday and Friday, we are once again offering the option of pre-ordering a "boxed lunch". There will be no food vendors on the grounds on Thursday and a realatively small number on Friday. The boxed lunch option was very popular last year and participants thought the quality and selection of the lunch exceptional. The menu is able to be accessed via the on-line registration process.
ON LINE REGISTRATION - Available MAY 2010
We are offering on-line registration with payment via PayPal. You do not have to have your own PayPal account to use our on-line regsitration. PayPal allows you to use your own credit card or even a check, as well. Just follow the instructions throughout the registration module. If you are using on-line registration you do not need to select an alternative class. However, you will have to start a seperate regsitration "encounter" for each class. You may register for more than one class if you would like to, you just have to do each regsitration independently of the other.
If you choose not to register on-line :
Please remember to indicate alternative choices on the registration form. Some classes will fill quickly and if you do not indicate an alternative choice, your registration will be delayed. The registration form is a pdf file. You MUST download it and mail it to us with complete payment in order to register. Also, if you use this method of registration, please remember that others may be registering on line while your form is in the mail - making it all the important in indicate alternative choices.
