Play with my colors....
Learn by using colors in an unusual way....
I love working with colors. I maintain the idea of PLAYING with colors. It is so much fun and there are no rules - no key!
However I am sort of based on Goethe's color-wheel. I play with
... primary and secondary colors
... what I call neighbor colors
... cool and warm colors
... complementary colors
... etc.
You will be playing with "my" colors and "my" yarn on the same base as above mentioned and you will work with unusual color combinations.
We will mainly work with stripes, but feel free to work with fair isle, intarsia-knitting etc., but stripes will do for a color-class.
Inspiration:
A slideshow in colors.

Instructor will provide:
Yarn from Harrisville Designs in lots of colors for you to play with.

Incomplete Squares etc.
You will learn how to make this fun kind of Domino-knitting from the very beginning. When you have finished this class - you will be able to make your own scarf, but you will not get an instruction - only the technique.
We will all learn the incomplete squares - you can choose between working on a sample swatch (used on a cushion at right) - or you can buy a kit with the NET SCARF to get started on the scarf. This technique is from my newest book "Knit to be Square" and it is also in my new Japanese book "Advanced Dominoknitting".
I will teach how to:
... knit cast on
... knit incomplete squares
... knit attached tabs etc.
... join the squares as you go
What you need to bring:
Yarn - You may buy a kit or bring your own yarn. Bring wool - not supwerwash in 2-3 colors and you will knit a sample swatch and learn the concept.
Needles - Short straight needles (approximately 7-8" long) or double pointed needles US 4 (bring also 3 or 5). Do also bring a pair of scissors and a canvas needle.
