Lisa Cruse learned embroidery at the age of six, sparking a life-long love of color and the needle arts. Expanding into knitting, fine sewing, crochet, smocking, needlepoint, tatting, needle felting, fulling, weaving and other forms of fiber technique, Lisa has found it a joy to share this love through teaching, patterns, books and shows. Her color sense is refined through decorative and fine arts including her love of painting and pastels. She finds that each form of creativity builds on those that have gone before to create a sophisticated mix within her own style. Lisa enjoys instructing and encouraging her students in expressing their own hearts through their projects. Her teaching style is both informative and playful. Lisa lives in the foothills of the Berkshires in northwest Connecticut where she is constantly picking stray bits of fiber off her clothing. More Lisa Cruse designs may be found at www.LisaCruse.com or on
